MCPS Changes School Calendar

On Feb. 24, Superintendent Monifa McKnight, sent out a community message to inform MCPS on the updated school calendar. These changes will be required in order to make up for instruction lost due to snow days. Two days of full days of instruction have been added, leading to the last day of school to move to Jun. 17. With this update, Jun. 15 will go from being a half-day, to a full day of instruction. In addition to this change, Apr. 1, originally being a professional day for teachers, will now be an early-release day.
