I think I only went to like two, and I learned a lot, but I definitely would recommend going to more.” Her advice highlights the importance of engaging with as many schools as possible during the event to maximize the benefits of the fair. Interestingly, rather than narrowing her choices, the college fair expanded Harris’s list of potential schools. “I had only been considering three colleges, and one of them wasnβt even there… and then I looked at one that was out of state, and now it’s on my list and it wasnβt before!” This experience underscores the true purpose of college fairsβto help students explore a broader range of options and make informed decisions about their future.
