Senior year isnβt easy. From college applications to scholarship searches, 12th graders are some of the most overworked and stressed students here at Blake High School.
Unfortunately, the second semester doesnβt make this any easier. There are many deadlines and events we must apply for and remember, and hereβs an overview of them.
February 16: Deadline for Senior Banquet Tickets
Tickets are on sale for $25 until this date. Purchase them on School Cash Online, and contact Ms. Jacobs if you have any questions.
February 28: Deadline for Cap and Gown Orders
All seniors are required to wear a cap, gown, stole, and tassel at graduation. If you are wearing your siblingβs gown, you only need to purchase the stole and tassel. You can order them using this link.
March 1: Deadline for Diploma Name Declaration
Your full legal name will be displayed on your diploma, regardless of whether you have a preferred name or not. The three options for the display of your legal name are:
- Full legal name
- Full legal name without middle name
- Legal name with only middle initial
Choose your option on either StudentVue or ParentVue and contact Ms. Marks if you have any questions.
March 7: Senior Banquet
The Senior Banquet will happen from 7-11 pm at the Ten Oaks Ballroom in Clarksville. Attendees must bring a student ID to be admitted to the event, and there is no entry after 8 pm. Contact Ms. Pierre Saint-Walla or Mr. Kelley with any questions.
May 17: Prom
Prom will happen from 8-12 pm at the UMD Alumni Center, and the theme is the Roaring 20s. Keep an eye out for more information on tickets!
