Post Malone & The Weeknd- One Right Now

On Friday, we were given a taste of a collaboration between two of some of the biggest R&B artists in our generation. Post Malone and The Weeknd released a song called “One Right Now.” The song provides a very up-beat sound that we’ve heard both artists take a turn on by themselves in the past. The lyrics and vocals on this track are sensational. The echos serving as adlibs do a great job of completing the bouncy feeling of the song. Both singers sound very passionate with their lyrics, giving us heartfelt words on this pop track.The production of the beat itself is very beautiful and provides a great melody.

Aminé– TWOPOINTFIVE

Aminé released a part two to his album, “ONEPOINTFIVE.” The production on this album was astonishing. The production and the feeling of the album feels like a rainbow. From the intro of the album “YiPiYaY,” telling you to just go enjoy yourself, to “meant2b,” giving us a romantic teenage experience. It’s the perfect album when you just want to have an adventure and don’t want bad energy anywhere near you. Aminé has brought some fun music that’ll help us get through the end of the year.

 Summer Walker- Still Over It

In addition to her run of singles this year, Summer Walker released a second part to her first album, Over It. Her newest release Still Over It, is a 20 song album that blesses the ears with music that beautifully illustrates heartbreaks and toxic relationships. Many artists such as JT, Lil Durk, and Cardi B, were featured on the album, assisting Walker in giving her album that somber feeling. The production on each track is done very well, every song gives the same heartfelt sensation and Walker does a great job painting out her emotions with her lyrics.

Silk Sonic- Smokin Out The Window

Silk Sonic arrives again with another amazing single, “Smokin Out The Window,” a very smooth and fun song about how both Mars and Anderson .Paak have gotten played by a lover. The production of the song gets you to bop your head and the lyrics make you sing with joy. This is their third single ahead of their upcoming album, “An Evening With Silk Sonic,” which releases on November 12th, 2021.
