Cupid’s Valentines Day Guide

February 14 is the national day of love and romance. Whether you have been shot by cupid’s arrow or are rolling solo, Valentine’s Day is a time to show love and spread positivity. There are many ways to have a good time with or without a lot of money. Here is how to enjoy your Valentine’s Day.

iFly:

If you are into being physically active, iFly, an indoor skydiving center, is perfect. If flying alone, solo packages start at $60. To bring a special someone along, two Flight Packages start at $70. The staff is very enthusiastic, friendly and welcoming! This amazing experience is available to people of all ages.

Movies

Looking for a more laid-back Valentine’s Day activity? Going to the movies can be a chance for you to enjoy quality time with yourself, friends or family. Catching a flick with that special person can also be very romantic if you both enjoy watching movies. If you are an outdoorsy person, there are many outdoor movie locations around Maryland and packages you can rent or buy to watch movies in the comfort of your own backyard.

Dinner:

Who does not like to eat? Dinner can be a great option for things to do on Valentine’s Day. Single? Treat yourself to your favorite restaurant or make plans with family and friends.  If looking for something fancy, I suggest trying Copper Canyon Grill located in Downtown Silver Spring. A little pricey, but the service is amazing and the food is exceptional. If you want a more intimate interaction, dinner can even mean cooking at home with your loved ones or for them.

Valentine’s Day does not have to be full of stressful expectations. Sometimes, it is the little gestures like cooking dinner and spending time with loved ones that counts. Single or taken, I hope you have a great Valentine’s Day.
