Our spring sports athletes are killing the 2023 spring season. We have also won the NEC Consortium cup against our neighbors Paint Branch and Springbrook. The cup is awarded based on the varsity athletic seasons between schools. Let’s go on a review of how our sports did this season.
Our boys’ lacrosse had a great regular season with a record of 11-2 and winning two playoff games. They got to the regional finals against Sherwood but sadly we didn’t get the outcome we wanted. Boys lacrosse still ended with a great season and a positive record of 13-3.
Girls’ lacrosse season also had a positive record of 10-4. It includes one playoff win against Paint Branch.
Baseball had a great season this year and a positive record of 17-4. They made it to the regional finals but in sorrow, we also fell to Sherwood. We are still very proud of them with a spectacular season.
Softball ends their season with a record of 3-14 with wins over Springbrook, Walkinsmill, and Northwood.
Boys Tennis had a close season with a record of 5-6.
Our Girls’ Tennis had a great season and ended with a positive record of 7-4. At the end of the regular season, they had a 7-game winning streak with the last three games going 7-0. Congrats to Samantha Tacchetti on being a Region Champ as a freshman for us Bengals.
