Spotify Wrapped 2022
On the morning of Nov 30, around 9 am, Spotify dropped their annual Spotify wrapped. Spotify wrapped is a curated playlist created by Spotify with your past yearβs listening data including your top 5 most streamed artists, songs, and genres. Whether or not you have a Spotify premium subscription doesnβt matter, as the music streaming platform will create a wrapped playlist and story regardless.
Spotify wrapped started in early December 2015 with a similar, but underdeveloped, idea named, βYear In Musicβ. In recent years, Spotify has made wrapped look like an Instagram story you tap through to see your stats. Wrapped is a great way for artists and Spotify to gain exposure at the end of the year since it is massively shared all over social media.
