SMOB Election Date

Attention, Bengals! On Wednesday, April 20, 2022, Student Member of the Board (SMOB) elections will be taking place in your English or ESOL class. In order to ensure you are making an informed decision, watch your email that delineates important information regarding your SMOB election process. 

On the 8th of April, you will receive another email from MCPS, entailing information about the candidates, Juniors Arvin Kim from Walt Whitman High School, and Ibrahima (Baba) Cisse from Einstein High School. The email will include Candidate Profiles, a Meet the Candidates Video, and a preview of the ballot.

On the 19th of April, a following email will be sent with links to more SMOB candidate information, a preview of the election ballot, steps for voting, a link to the voting area, and your individualized voting credentials. The ballot link will not be able to be opened until April 20, 2022 at 7:30am, and is only allowed to be used once.
