They will be accompanied by Loathe, Vended, and Dying Wish. Tickets are going fast, so hurry and guilt-trip your parents into buying them before it’s too late!
Olivia Rodrigo and Holly Humberstone – Wednesday,May 4, 2022(The Anthem, Washington)PopMs. Spicy Pisces herself is going on tour for her first album SOUR, which was released back in May 2021. Rodrigo will be visiting Maryland on May 4, 2022 at The Anthem in Washington. She will be accompanied by British songwriter, Holly Humberstone. Tickets are going quick, so don’t miss out on the big concert of the year. 
Broccoli City Festival – Saturday, May 7, 2022(RFK Campus) Washington DCRap/ R&B21 Savage, Ari Lennox, Lil Durk, Wale, Rico Nasty, Jeezy, Larry June, Joyce Wrice, Summer Walker, Wizkid, Gunna, Don Toliver, Tems, Masego, Babyface Ray, Alex VaughnAs we kick off the month of May, Broccoli City Festival brings a stacked lineup of amazing rappers and singers, with three of them being DMV natives: Wale, Rico Nasty, and Ari Lennox. Alongside them are many star-studded names like Jeezy, 21 Savage, Lil Durk, Summer Walker, Gunna, and Don Toliver. There are even some underrated talents such as Joyce Wrice, Wizkid, Babyface Ray, and Masego attending, too. This will be taking place at the RFK Campus in Washington DC so get your tickets soon cause this showcase of styles is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Disclosure and DJ BORING – Saturday, May 7, 2022(The Anthem, Washington)HouseDisclosure and DJ BORING are bringing the party to DC on May 7. Disclosure is heavily known for their iconic tracks like “Latch,” “When A Fire Starts To Burn,” “Help Me Lose My Mind,” and most importantly, “Talk,” featuring Khalid. They are accompanied by the up-and-coming EDM act, DJ BORING. Some of his most well-known tracks are “Winona,” “6 AM Mimosa,” and “For Tahn.” Disclosure plans to perform their hits from their last album “ENERGY” and old hits from albums like Settle and Caracal. With many looking forward to how much they’ll bring, with just two artists they’re making a whole rave. So get your tickets cause you don’t want to miss the party.
Rex Orange County – Tuesday, May 10, 2022(Pier Six Pavilion)PopIT’S HAPPENING EVERYBODY, STAY CALM, IT’S HAPPENING! Rex Orange County is on tour for his newest album WHO CARES? with Maryland being one of the first stops! The hype surrounding his newest album is really high as it was his first project since 2019. Tickets are currently sold out, but keep an eye out for more sales as they are bound to start up again. 
Freddie Gibbs and MIKE – Thursday, May 12, 2022(The Fillmore Silver Spring)RapThe greatest Internet troll ever, who also just happens to be a rapper, Freddie Gibbs comes to Maryland. As we wait for his new album, Gibbs will be most likely playing from past releases like Alfredo, Bandana, and Pinata. Alongside him, he’s been joined with up-and-coming, avant-garde rapper, MIKE. He’ll be playing “Crime Pays” and “Scotty Beam.” Regardless, Gibbs is going to give attendees a fun time. But I also hope he plays “By Gunna.” (If You Know, You Know LMAO).
NLE Choppa and Scorey – Monday, May 16, 2022(The Fillmore Silver Spring)RapMr. Shotta Flow returns to Maryland as he comes to the Fillmore, alongside rising rapper, Scorey. NLE is known to bring confidence and energy into his songs—now imagine that live. It’s going to be a rollercoaster. The spiritual energy is going to fly through the roof and there’s most definitely gonna be a moshpit. So enter at will. NLE is bringing a fire show and we’re ready to go crazy! 
Deftones, Gojira, Vows – Tuesday, May 17, 2022(The Anthem)RockDEFTONES ARE BACK!!! Everybody get hype because Deftones have begun their tour with Gojira, and Vows. As they’re coming to Maryland. On May 17, Deftones will be coming to play at The Anthem. Get prepared, sweet-talk your parents, and find a cute date. THIS IS NOT SOMETHING WE CAN IGNORE. 
Griselda – Thursday, May 19, 2022(Echostage)RapGriselda, an iconic trio, journey to Washington DC to set the standard for what it means for a crew to make a comeback. As all three acts (and name the acts here), have had a very monumental 2021 and are just kicking into overdrive for the beginning of this year. re. On a stage like Echostage, prepare to mosh, prepare to jump. All in all, Griselda is bringing everything all out and WE MUST BE READY!
Infield Fest – May 20, 2022(Pimlico Race Course) BaltimorePopFrom May 20 – May 21, “Infield Fest.” will be taking place in Baltimore. There will be multiple appearances from tons of big artists including Megan Thee Stallion, Moneybagg Yo, Marshmallow, and more! There will also be a special guest appearance from Ms. Lauryn Hill! Earthgang – Saturday, May 21, 2022 – May 22, 2022(Rams Head Live) Baltimore RapThe dynamic duo returns as Earthgang heads to Baltimore on May 22. As they’re already riding off the hype from their latest album “Ghetto Gods.” They’re most likely going to be performing from that and some old hits. As they’re going to bring a show for y’all. Without even lip-syncing, just pure bars. The energy they’ll bring will be unmatched, so don’t miss out!
The Who – Monday,May 23, 2022(Capital One Arena) Washington DCRockThe always legendary rock band The Who returns to DC on May 23rd. With this really being a reunion tour for them. As they’re not just going to give a show but are going to prove they can still hang with the best of them. With them performing the hits and going all out each show. Maryland Deathfest XVII- Thursday, May 26, 2022(Baltimore Soundstage)RockAmerica’s biggest annual metal party. Maryland Deathfest is a multi-day event held in Baltimore with dozens of metal bands from the world including Acid Witch, Primitive Man, Atheist, Limbsplitter, and more! Nelly – Thursday, May 26, 2022(The Theater at MGM National Harbor)The legend himself, Nelly, arrives at the National Harbor on Thursday, May 26. There’s not really much to say about Nelly because this man is iconic. He’ll most likely be performing his hits like “Ride Wit Me and Hot In Here.” Nelly is known to bring the party and is taking us on a trip back to the 2000s and fans will more than likely enjoy it.
