Former Fifth Harmony member on the rise in solo career

Since starting her solo career just last year, singer and songwriter Normani shines in the music industry with hit singles and an anticipated album within the first half of this year.

As a soloist, Normani Kordei Hamilton has worked with popular artists such as Sam Smith in Dancing with a Stranger and Khalid in Love Lies, which became a Top 10 in Billboard’s Hot 100 and was certified two times platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

Normani’s music reaches a variety of genres as she tests different sounds while finding her voice as a soloist. With afrobeats inspired Checklist featuring Calvin Harris and WizKid and emotional contemporary R&B in Waves single with 6LACK, Normani proves that through touching on different influences, her music has no limits.

First known for being a member of girl group Fifth Harmony, Normani began her singing career in 2012. However, after the departure of member Camila Cabello in 2016 and later announcement of an indefinite hiatus of the girl group, Normani along with the other members of the girl group ventured onto solo careers.
