Director Wes Ball enthralls audiences with new movie “Maze Runner: The Death Cure,” which contains amazing visuals and clever plot twists that will leave you on the edge of your seat.
If you are a fan of the book by James Dashner, which this movie is based on, then the movie may be disappointing to you. The director told the same story, but in his own way, which changed several aspects of the movie.
“The Maze Runner: The Death Cure” is a sci-fi action movie that takes place in a dystopian society. The casting of this movie was particularly great, as the actors and actresses played believable teen roles. The protagonist is a teenage boy played by Dylan O’Brien and the antagonist is an older man named Janson, played by Aidan Gillen. O’Brien and Gillen are accompanied by other talented actors such as Thomas Brodie-Sangster who plays Newt, Will Poulter as Gally, Ki Hong Lee as Minho, Kaya Scodelario as Teresa, and many others.
This film did not have high expectations. The first movie in this series, “The Maze Runner,” was a hit, the second, “Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials” was a huge disappointment. If you have decided that you would not watch this movie because of its fall off in the sequel, you ought to think again because this is not a movie you would want to miss.
The film has a little something to offer to all viewers. While it is an action movie, it touches on way more than just violence. It also digs into the themes of love and friendship. It sends the message that true friends will always come back for you.
What makes this such an intriguing film is that it was not quite as predictable as other action films are. Throughout the entire movie, it will keep you guessing what will happen next.
Like many action movies, there were some far-fetched action scenes in this movie. This is not so surprising because, in a science fiction action movie, the creators have the right to have an improbable scene every now and then.
There was some great behind-the-scenes work on this film. The editing was great and the movie displayed an impressive use of technology which made very jaw-dropping action scenes look a bit more believable.
This movie brings out lots emotion from the audience. There are some scenes that make the audience, cry, laugh, and smile. This attributes to the movie’s success in many ways because it has given the audience everything they have paid for. After what many critics believe to be a letdown, they came back better than ever with this film.
